Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but I wondered if anyone could help, my Mother has these
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/8681414/Trail/searchtext%3EDOORMAN.htm
unfortunately the bell push isn't working (I think the damp has affected it) and wondered if anyone knew where I could obtain a new push, she can't find the leaflets that came with it, it's very good for her (when it's working) as she is deaf so the flashing light is a bonus

TBH I think thats over priced. You can get a single pack wireless door bell at Wilkos for about £6, granted not a twin pack (two chimes only not two door bells)but one is all you need0 -
No because if it's a mobile one she forgets to take it with her into separate rooms these are plugged in so she has them in 2 different rooms also saves her on batteries for the unit as they are mains powered all she needs is a new bell push0

Door bells dont use a lot of power tbh, batteries can last well over 2 years. Also many of the wireless ones are portable and can be detached off the wall like the ones in Wilkos and it has about 5 chimes in it. I stil think this is an expensive for what it is0

Well she likes it, she had a battery one before and didn't get on with it at all, also do the ones in Wilkos have flashing lights for the hard of hearing ? if not then they are no use, if anyone has any ideas of where to get a bell push that would be great0

You could go in and see if they have a contact number for the manufacturers and see how much they charge for a new bell push, alternatively purchase the cheapest one that Argos do http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/8681548/Trail/searchtext%3EDOORCHIME.htm
or you may be able to purchase elsewhere cheaper and just use the bell push from that
Hope this helps0 -
Ok,
This took a little time to research, though i have found out that Doorman is part of a range under the Friedland company.
Although i'm unable to find the product range on their website, perhaps it's been deleted? I have posted a link whereby you can contact them.
As it's a faulty product, they should be able to send you a replacement, hopefully at no extra cost.
Here's the link, and let us know how you get on.

Aldi have wireless door bells at £5.99 from Sunday 27 January

Just in case you wanted a quick/cheap solution in the meantime.0 -
Saintscouple, thank you so much for your help, I'll contact them now and certainly will let you know what happens
They've given me a local call number for spares so hopefully I'll be able to get it sorted now thanks again
advised they sold them in Homebase got their own make one (which was cheaper £4.99) and it's working fine now thanks to all0
