B&Q discount card for the over 60's

I have had a quote for my new kitchen does anyone know If my mother paid for this on wednesday giving her discount card, would they accept this. The kitchen is large and woud need to be delivered to my address. Could this be done or would they laugh us out of the store. The cost is just over 2500 and the 10% is very tempting. I also want to buy the vouchers( from another thread) £95 for £100 worth this overall would give me 15% anyone think it would work? I would be putting this on my 0% card for 9 months halifax one but intend to purchase the vouchers first
Any help apprecaited

When i worked in B+Q we didnt give a stuff if someone dragged there 90yr old granny in :) the salesman will be more intrested in his comission !

Shouldnt be a problem with paying cash but is using vouchers they may be a problem ? I would ask as the store they should calify the situation about the vouchers.

Thanks Deanos, I wanted to order the gift vouchers so I will check with the store. Gift vouchers are treated as cash aren't they? and I can buy them online for 5% discount.

just a word of warning- It used to be that you couldn't use the card on kitchens, including applicances, as well as some other large projects such as buying baths etc.

Don't know if the y have changed their terms though.

Also large B&Q superstores don't accept the card, only standard b&q's do.
