Looking for A5 or A4 notebooks - cheap!

Hi, I'm looking for notebooks or sketchbooks or something - I need 25 of them and they need to be under 50p each! I teach Primary 7 and in the summer term I get them to write autobiographies - a bit each week, and they end up with a really nice keepsake. Last year's class worked so hard on them because they looked so good. Any ideas anyone?

Woolworths can be worth a look - I got some before christmas with lovely plastic covers, so a bit more hardwearing (they were half price, but the offer seemed to have been on forever, so may still be there).

My local Tesco have their £1 specials back on at the moment. Not sure if all the Tescos do this at the same time?? i think they do.
One of the items is a pack of 3 A5 hardback lined notebooks for a £10 -
Home bargains had some nice A5 size exercise books in for 19p each.0

Not been in for a while, but try PC World, I picked up quite a few Pukka Pads for 75p. Ours does a lot of stationery sales not too sure if they all do.
BTW it was the St Helens branch.0 -
Asda - I bought a few at Christmas and they were 49p each. They had fabric covers which were funky - stripes and dots. Try there!
Or wilkos
:heartpuls CG :heartpulsEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -

I was also going to suggest Tesco.
They have 3 hard backed A5 books for £1, I normally buy these from Tesco for 49p so quite a bargain, will withstand all the thumbing school children do to books.0
