Try mixing a thick paste of bicarbonate of soda and water. Dab it on with a cloth and leave for as long as poss, ie over night or at least 4 hours. Work in with a cloth and wipe off. Should doo the trick x0

Those magic erasers, but buy the cheap ones, they're just as good. Or Barkeepers Friend, available at a supermarket near you:D Someone started a thread about it yesterday or the day before. I'll see if I can find it.

Cream cleaner always works for me. It has some bleach and a scouring effect.

If you have a Lakeland store near you I believe they sell it, Kleeneeze might do as well. Or have a look online but go through a cashback site!!

I think bleach will eventually take the surface off the worktop.0

How can you say this when the OP hasn't stated what his/her worktops areIf the are regular laminate bleach will not do any harm at all and IME bleach is the only thing that will remove tea/coffee stains easily. If you use thin bleach, first pour onto an old rag of some kitchen towel and leave wadded on the stain for a couple of hours at least. (Don't do this if your tops are in any way porous such as ie Slate, marble, wood because then they will be damage)

My laminate worktops don't feel as smooth as they were after using bleach for this very problem. You just have to be very careful with bleach is all I am suggesting.0

I had a very large tea stain on my worktop by the kettle.
Just this afternoon popped a bit of neat bleach over the stained area. Left it for a few minutes. You could see the stain disappearing. Then just rinsed off the bleach.0
