Sainsburys Free Cool Bag Offer

Sainsburys are running a 'Free Cool Bag - when you buy any five stickered products' Offer.

I need a new cool bag so I was going to make the most of this but .... I found it too hard to track down the stickered products. Although the bags were liberally distributed around the store, they weren't near stickered products, nor were the advertising labels on the shelves. Products included in the deal have a small round burgundy coloured sticker.

I asked an assistant manager who told me to think of going on a picnic - cheese, pork pies, cold meat, etc but I still couldn't pick out clear products other than those that were £2.45 each (x five = not much of a bargain).

Can Moneysavers suggest the cheapest products they have seen to make this offer worthwhile OR give a list of the 250 products that are part of the offer in a clearer way than the store can? :cool:

The website says Dairy, Eggs and Chilled Food Departments - offer ends 13 September or while stocks last.

The offer runs online too ... at a quick glance ... Sainsbury's celery, nut and sultana salad is £1.09 per pot but, buy 2 for £2: Taste the diff. coleslaw 98p

Have a gander online and you'll be able to plan before you buy.

Can you buy the cool bags on their own, should I not find stickered products?

You can and they are £4.99. They are an ideal size to carry but don't look like they will last years and years, which is fine by me because they do get mucky in the corners so you can cast it aside after a year.

A quick browse of Queenie's suggestions and link has proven that I can get five goods that cost less than £4.99!

Excellent. I used to have Tesco one, but it got ripped. Can't seem to find them in there so will look in Sainsbury's instead. Many thanks.

My friend Daisythecow couldn't find the stickered products so she took her till receipt to Customer Services after checkout. She explained the situation and they admitted most products hadn't come in. She also indicated that staff have to manually check receipts from a five-page product list. She then agreed to give her the bag anyway! Worth a try! She says it's well worth a fiver.
