Hi just got back from Argos and got the 6.5 litre slow cooker made by Morphy Richards (which according to many old stylers is the creme de la creme of slow cookers) for £22.64.

The catalogue price is £33.97. Argos have a bit of a sale on not sure when it'll end so if your interested be quick.

The slow cooker is stainless steel and has low, medium and high settings.

Because it's a decent size you can slow cook whole chickens or in my case (at the moment) a huge gammon ham in coca cola, mmmmm

If you click see all reviews you will see what I mean. Ignore the price though as it is an Amazon marketplace item and has delivery costs to add on. (£8.85p+p)

I used my nectar points to buy this same slow cooker a few months back it was reduced then too and was the cheapest place to buy it at the time.

i got this one from tesco for £23 on thursday, £10 off. that was after i brough a crockpot one from argos that was a clearly returned item. things missing, box was poor. so far made mince and mash and a bit of gammon. lovely
