I wanna: large dice for board games

My 3 year old got an annual for Christmas which has a game in it she wants to play, but we need a dice. I don't want to use a normal one as it's too small for her, does anyone know where I can get a large dice? Thanks very much.

Thanks very much for that but it seems they charge £4.50 delivery for a £2.50 dice! :eek: Would prefer to get one from a shop if possible, any ideas anyone?

That's a good idea :T I could just cut the strings off couldn't I and we'd have 2 dice then. Thanks very much

They are quite easy to make out of cardboard - google for a template. This site:

gives instructions for making dice out of milk/OJ cartons. Alternatively, ELC do a giant snakes and ladders/O's and crosses game which comes with big inflatable dice - you'd obviously have to pay for the game, but it's good fun and the dice could be used with lots of other games. Finally, educational catalogues have lots of variations of things like this - maybe if you go to a playgroup they order from these kind of catalogues??

If you're still after a big die then I'll happily send you the one I got out of a cracker at Christmas, each side is about the size of a £2 coin to give you an idea of the size.
