This is the phone with the colour screen which will surf the net, e-mail and has a built in camera so you can see the person you're talking to over normal phone lines if both of you own one of them.

Staples in Shrewsbury have them reduced to £20 - don't know if it is a countrywide offer.

Is this definately the new version with the Camera? I've never seen those for less than £90, but the older ones (non camera) can be had for between £10 & £20 in most places.

One point to note is that these things are bloody expensive to run. If you have a video call, I believe they cost around 50p per minute. The email functionality costs you around £65 per year in dialing costs, and there isn't alot you can do to get around that - if you disable it, the phone stops working altogether.

The latter information applies to the non-camera version, so may or may not be the case with the new one - but it wouldn't surprise me.

I toyed with the idea of getting a couple of the new camera ones because I have relatives that live a fair distance away and it would be handy, and whilst I didn't have a problem paying £100 each for them at the time, I recall seeing the call prices and thinking they were way too high to justify it.

That said, all this was about 3 / 4 months ago, so if anything has changed I'd appreciate the update :-)
