Johnswife - I would ask to be dropped somewhere near Printworks or Urbis - you can get into the Arndale centre via the huge Next which is just opposite Printworks. The main shopping areas in Manchester are the Arndale centre and Market Street. There is a very big boots store on Market St (you can get into it via Arndale centre).0
