How big a business is it? I just worry a little bit that if they had to send out thousands of samples that they might get broke...........
Am I worrying unnecessarily?

I understand your concern however it might also drum up some business for them. If they find hundreds of requests in their mailbox Monday morning it is really up to them to make a business decision. I mean why offer fruit cake in the beginning unless it is a ploy to drum up business.
I did come across a number of sites who offered free wedding cake, and have refrained from posting them as I can't see a high percentage of people on here getting married over the coming months. Those that are, give me a PM and I'll give you some sites for free wedding cake samples;)

I have thanked the OP, but I didn't send for this because while it would be lovely to get a chunk of cake through the post, I didn't want to do it as I would never ever buy from them, so felt it unfair really. Posting does cost a lot with the packaging/postage/person time to physically do it.
Nice find though!
If it had been, say, a national brand I'd have had a freebie like a shot just because I could.0
