Wanted to update this as I just noticed something another member wrote about Martin.

The poster sent thanks to Martin for his maximum level of tolerance with regard to the Argos threads.

I agree and wish I'd thought about this too. If I remember rightly, Martin wasn't overly comfortable with some of the Argos stuff but made the decision to let it ride for our sakes.

So thanks Martin! (You're a good bloke, and if I didn't already have children, I would want yours! ;D)

I know there are a few who have been on here looking for ways to make an easy profit, but the majority of us have just wanted to save some money buying things for personal use. I know my family have benefited immensely, I have been able to buy decent things for Christmas for example, that normally I would not have been able to consider.

Also think I should add jon_c to this post too. I did send my thanks in another post a while back, but it does no harm to say it again, thank you.

I'd like to stick my oar in as well (and also bump this up the list a bit ;D) - and say thanks to John_C and Ben500 (who saved me a fortune when my old dyson blew up!!), and also, I have to say a big big thank you to cc25, who sold me his PDA for cost + postage - that was really nice of you, and we've all had great fun playing with it (it cheats at othello though :P)

I'm off back to argos today to pick up hedge trimmers, so there's still stuff out there - I have no idea what I'm going to do when this finishes, seems to have taken over my life!!

some people are greedy but it is lovely to hear of people helping each other.

can i just add my thanks too im still a newbie here but u guys are great i love this site.... not just for the great tips (havent managed to bag one yet i work permanent 6-2 3 days a week so miss out especially on all the lastest Dells) but for the chit chat ...thats it wanted to say me two pennies worth :P xx

Must confess I havent been too involved with the Argos thread after the initial week due to work , but did skim through the postings once every few days.
However must place on record Stumpys massive contribution to the thread(in the form of those massive collated lists, that kept a lot of interest going among MSEers!)
