Just a quickie (Ooo, matron).
I've got a 1 litre Pyrex mixing bowl. What is the next size up, ie. that the 1 litre one will just fit inside?

I haven't been able to find a link, but I think they go .5, 1, 2 and 3 litres.0

This tends to confirm my researches too. If I'm in a fit state after Burns' Night on Friday, I may pop into the kitchen shop in Bath and have a play with their bowls on Saturday.
So, the next question. Woolies have the 2 litre bowls at £4.50. In accordance with Martin's Money Mantra, are they cheaper elsewhere?
PS. I shudder to think how much they are in the shop in Bath! The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
Check out any charity shops - where I live, they always have pyrex bowls for sale. On the other hand, you'd probably not find any matching sets or anything like that - but they'll all go in the oven! I've managed to get 6 altogether (all with their original lids!) and two of them are the 3 litre size, 2 are 2 litres and 2 at 0.5 litre. Though no doubt they won't be in possession for much longer, my daughter was eyeing them up this evening  .0
