Douwe Egberts Coffee cheap at Tesco plus coupon

I can't find that this has been posted, but I thought it was a great bargain - small jars of Douwe Egberts instant coffee are half price in Tesco at the moment, £1.37 - and the ones in my local all had a coupon on the lid for 50p off your next purchase. Therefore after the first one, they are only going to cost you 87p - for one of the best instant coffees on the market, which usually retails at £2.78. I am not sure if the coupon scans without buying the coffee.

i got the coffee at that price and I drink Douwe Egberts anyway so was pleased but offer must be localised as there were no vouchers on the lids

The voucher on the top varies. Some are for instant, others are for filter. It's pot luck. They both scan at Tesco without buying the coffee in any case. My pantry is bursting with 100g jars of continental gold!

I bought it on offer in Tesco 2 weeks ago.It wasnt there last week on offer, it had gone back up to normal price. I must look in the week ,as its nice coffee and you dont need so much of it as Nescafe

:mad: its the same with the kenco latte. i went in to my local tesco yesterday to get a box , it has gone back up to £1.98 a box but the website says it is still half price 99p until 5th feb !!
can't find an e-mail address to complain to. how can it be on offer on the website and then taken off in the store?

I have got over 40 jars going for more monday to use up 6 more coupons then i will 6 more to use tueday But i only drink coffee and the date is very long

the moc expired 31st dec 07 tho, most sa's dont bother looking at the date so have amassed a small amount of jars myself...and have had no trouble using the mocs .....really cant find the space to buy and store any more jars tho lol...... ( i know i could decant them into a big storage container but then perhaps the coffee would lose some flavour)

Have you tried scanning the packet at the price check scanner?

Somebody might have put the wrong shelf edge ticket out.
