I have just heard that I may be getting my stick mitts on some fresh oysters.
It all depends upon how many a friend sells at her seafood stall today.
Last year, we got some and had some 'raw' the others I baked with some cheese I think I did bookmark the recipe, but that was on my old lappie and I didn't write the site down anywhere.
So, do any of you have a yummy oyster recipe that you are willing to share. I don't have any of the Rick Stein books.
They will keep for a few days as thay haven't been shucked yet, so all suggestions welcome.

The only cooked oyster recipe I really like is oysters kilpatrick: try this one, http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/880/oysters+kilpatrick. They can also be added to steak (and kidney) pie/pudding, that's quite a classic combination. But my favourite way of eating them is au naturelle, perhaps with a dipping sauce of sherry vinegar and finely chopped shallots. I could murder a dozen oysters!Mortgage started on 22.5.09 : £129,600Overpayments to date: £3000June grocery challenge: 400/6000

Sorry Kunekune you're a bit too far away for a delivery....I'd need my passport to cross the border into Yorkshire.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0
