Lots of good ideas today for dfw savings.I love reading the replies to this thread and seeing what you have all been up to. Funny thing is after a while you get so used to doing things the dfw way you don't realise you are doing it. Its nice to have somewhere to keep track of the little things:D

Hi
Today I've done all my clicks,
Mended two pairs of trousers for DS (hems came down again),
Made dinner from freezer,
not turned heating on,
shredded all unneeded letters etc so if I'm a victim of ID fraud it will be govs fault not mine!
Forgot to say - had NSD too.Mortgage OP 2026 £860/2000Mortgage balance: £31,763

Evening all. My things for today were
Trying on line free bingo. Have done two sites so far but no wins as yet, but seeing as its free i shouldn't complain.
Did my tesco online store and then went back and cancelled some of the things. i always end up buying too many things on special offer and then finding they won't fit in my freezer or end up going off in the fridge. So ended up cutting it by £15.
Done some of my usual slice the pie
Been working through emails and filling in any surveys.
Sorted out all my clothes and have some things to ebay
Been looking at my online banking and making sure i can afford everything until payday.
Hope everyone's had a good day.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

I've:
Part dried clothes outside and finished off on airer
potted on the very pot bound bay tree which should mean lots of bayleaves again (need to figure out how to dry them for storing etc)
Had storecupboard dinner and it was yummy.
Used up some scrap booking supplies thereby whiling away the afternoon without spending any money or eating
kept turning off lappy when not using it instead of just leaving it plugged in.
picked long grass for the animals to eat instead of buying hay0 -
I know it is technically tomorrow but I am writing about 20th Jan.
Toda I:
* ate at work for free
* didn't buy any cigarettes
* fell asleep at 6pm, instead of surfing the net looking for unecessary bargains and spending money
* turned off the heating when I got in
:heartpuls CG :heartpulsEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -
