Buy a road atlas, you can get them for around £6.99 usually and they arent as distracting.

though you will very likely get points and a fine for driving down the road reading the road atlas as you attempt to figure out which exit you need from the roundabout in front of you.

The Police take an extremely dim view of reading whilst driving....

Very true, but its not that hard to pull over and look at and it costs a lot less.

Personally I think people should get a fine and points for driving along fiddling with their satnav and not looking where they are going, a bit like the plank that nearly hit me the other day. I think they should carry the same penalty as using mobile phones.

As others have said, this is posted in the wrong form and hopefully a mod will soon move it to the right place. I would think you would do better posting requests here.

By the way I got the TomTom One XL GB Traffic for Christmas from my son and I love it. I haven't got a clue what the difference between all the versions are though
