Loads of ways to save on your shopping bill, lmt. Tell us what your average spend is, the type of things you buy, where you shop, etcetera, and the suggestions will come flooding in.
We budget £40 a week for a family of 3 adults, and believe me we don't go hungry.
And, of course, there's always the 'Oldstyle' board.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Spent £34.56 in Lidl's on weekly shop for myself and my son. Did a comparison on mysupermarket.com and saved roughly £6 against Tesco or Sainsbury plus the fact that I saved by not buying any of the stuff I'd normally buy: magazines, clothes, housey things that I son't need etc. So I'm quite pleased.Lightbulb moment 28th December 2007
