A loft bed/high bed

I would like a good quality loft bed with storage/desk underneath. Ideally I want a wooden one (not a metal one) but they are so expensive. Any idea where I can get a bed which looks like a STOMPA bed but without the price-tag?

Check ebay for a flexa one. Search by distance. Much better than getting a cheap new one. Also can check local newspaper ads and newsagents windows.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0

I agree, we have had a second hand Flexa one with a desk from e bay for £75 a couple of years ago, and about 18 months ago I got a second hand Thuka mid height one, with the desk, bookcase and chest of drawers for £95 through an ad in our second hand paper.
Both beds are really solid, can be used as an ordinary height bed or a high bed.
Very versatile and strong. Should add we did get a new mid height bed from Ikea a few years ago but it was really poor quality and didn't last, the second hand quality beds are much better.
Good luck

Have a look at Cresta Pine, scallywag collection, similar design to Stompa.
We purchased ours from the factory in Dewsbury, W.yorks (they also have a factory shop there). Extremely pleased with beds (we purchased 4, 2 x bunkbeds L shaped)in whitewash pine, with lilac ends for the girls, and blue ends for the boys.
The beds are 5 years old now & look as new, everyone that sees them loves them. HTH.0 -
www.kiddiebeds.co.uk I used these for my sons bed a couple of years ago he got one with a slide but you can change parts the older they get and alter the design without too much extra cost.0
