for my new Advantage card (Boots) to arrive?

My old one was cancelled on 21st June as I registered my married name.

I've got loads of vouchers to use in Boots & need some credit on my phone but can't go in til I get my card as I've been told they will no longer add points on afterwards.

snap i cancelled mine the same day as it was damaged and am still waiting, its gutting me to see all these boots bargains :mad:

I've changed my address umpteen times and they still send stuff to my mum's. I've also tried changing my name and have never recieved a new card although my old card still works fine. I changed my name with them about 18months ago!!

I sent for a new card for my daughter via an application form and it didnt take long for the new one to arrive along with a double points voucher. Then I second card arrived yesterday, different number but her name, no points voucher!.

I think I might adjust the details on the website for this third card so I then have a card in 3 age groups to see if we get different mailings. Mind you any mailings at all would be nice and also an answer to the email I sent to Boots asking why we dont get mailings!

Someone also mentioned that each machine gives different offers so it looks like a very big job checking all the machines now, expecailly when I do the bigger Boots!

Mine took 3 weeks to come through, and this was only a month or so ago.

In meantime you can get receipts validated and as long as you take into store within 30 days they will put points on card.

Have tried to apply for parenting club online but unsure as whether worked as tells me i need to update my details although i don't need/ want to.

Oh yeah, if you call boots advantage card line (tel no on back of receipt) they will look into, i called and they were busy so left message on answerphone and they called back , sods law though as card turned up just as they called.
