  • There's a world shortage of helium...so balloons are likely be more expensive than they were a few years ago

The price of helium has NOT risen because of the world shortage.
Don't let anyone get away with overpricing by saying this.

The general retail price of a Helium filled 18" foil ballon is £2.99..
Be aware that if you buy uninflated balloons , then florists/party shops will charge approx £1 per balloon to fill with helium ( bear this in mind if buying balloons on ebay).
Disposable helium cylinders ( costing around £20) will only fill approx 16 x 18" helium balloons. These are not very good and they con you by quoting a higher number of balloons than they will actually fill ( they quote for 9" balloons when the regular latex balloon size for helium fill is 11" )

Did it all float off, I wonder? :rotfl:
  • Some of our local card shops do them and so does the lady who does the cards on the market. Might be worth atry.
