Its my mothers birthday soon and I want to get her something she will really like/use, anyway just before Christmas she was telling me about this product she had been reading about, now please bear with me because she isn't the best at explaining things and I haven't got the greatest memory. Apparently it was a lead to charge her laptop but it was some kind of energy saving thing where it only charged the battery until it was full and then stopped charging it. I've looked on Google etc but I cant seem to find anything that even remotely fits the description. Does anyone here have the foggiest idea what she was talking about?

Thats the problem I'm finding, all modern laptop chargers do the same thing, but it was something she read about/saw an advert on TV for. I just remembered she said something about peripherals, maybe it powers them down when you arent using the laptop. Sorry to be so vague but she isnt good with technology and I didnt see the advert.:A:A:A:A:A:A0

There are ones for desktops, which turn off everything attached when you power down the base unit, but they aren't appropriate for laptopsEver get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
