Croydex Toilet Seats. £4.97

We needed a new toilet seat as the flimsy one we had split in two.

After much searching I went for one of these. I went for the ice white one..not exactly what I wanted, but the quality was what I was after.

The seat arrived yesterday..excellent communication/tracking/delivery from plumbworld. In addition, the seat is excellent quality, heavyish with good quality fittings.

The downside is P&P which is also £4.97, doubling the price of your seat. I searched for a free delivery code but was unsuccessful..maybe some-one else would have more luck. To make me feel better, I ordered 2 to make them £7.45 each...not quite sure if that's money saving or not? ;)

Oh..& I forgot to mention..quidco too. :)

but toilets seats have to be wood! Both for looks and comfort.

But not one of those cheapo Ikea ones. I lose all feeling in my legs before Ive read 3 pages when I sit on one of those

We are big fans of Plumbworld, its worth noting they have an ebay shop, and sometimes these prices are cheaper.

Lol..each to their own..I didn't like the last wooden one we had..maybe it's just me...and with a house full of boys, I like to see what I'm cleaning....well..on the other hand, perhaps I don't..but you know what I mean.:rotfl: Don't like to think what might be ingrained in all that wood.

Anyway..wooden ones half price too..but not as cheap. (£12.97 to £17.97)

Good tip Sam..I'll bear that in mind. I think the same can be said of Robert Dyas too..I think I've used them on ebay before with cheaper prices than on site.
  • Sounds like a bum deal to me :)
