You can get these back. I did from them. Over a 1000.00. with interest. And it was sooooo easy. Right you need to send a request off for yoyr consumer credit agreement from lowells. This costs 1.00. Trust me they will pass it back to cap1. The SAR costs 10.00. There is a template letter in the recalim bank charges forum. If ca1 passed this debt to lowells there will almost certainly be charges. Asking for your CCA will put the account into dispute. This will give you time to sort things out.
Yes there are some charges in there. Sorry to sound thick but where do I get all the info from? What is a SAR?0 -

The SAR is a subject access request. This is a letter that goes to cap1 asking for all the info they hold on you. Really all they will di is send you copies of your statements. Then you can go through them and work out all the charges they have applied to your account. Which you can claim back or at least reduce the debt. My guess iss you will get some money back in your pocket. The letter is in the reclaim bank charges forum. All the letters are done for you. 1st letter is the SAR. You get your statements from Cap1. 2nd letter is when you find out how much they owe YOU then you request the mone back. 3rd letter is a letter before action if they say sod off. And they will. Then you take them to court and get your refund with interest. It really was very easy. I did it. So can you. Lets get lowells off your back as well.Night Owl Member No 1 :rotfl: :rotfl:

I will definitely try this, Thank you. So I can do this even though I have defaulted on the debt? Will it not cost me to take them to court?0 -

I think we are in a contract with BT. I'll look into it. I could possibly have phone, broadband and TV through sky. I have to pay BT line rental whatever though because there isn't cable in my area.0 -
Yes it will cost you to take them to court. You can do all on line hun. For a 1000.00 it cost me 78.00. But that cap1 have to pay that back. Have a look at money claim online and have read up. I did not have to attend court. Was all done by comp and letters.Night Owl Member No 1 :rotfl: :rotfl:
