received a letter this morning

:confused: HI i recieved a letter this morning from TERN consultancy and they have explained that they want me to carry out a trial visit for them in which i wont be getting paid for just wondered if anyone had or has worked for them and is it worth it doing it in my own time thanks

    I've worked for them before and they are nice. They send clear, well explained briefs, and there is a friendly voice on the end of the phone if you need help. Fees were decent and they pay mileage and parking, but they do expect plenty of detail in your report. It's usually split into sections with a few yes/no type questions, then a space to write up a narrative of your visit.

    I had to do a trial shop too. I just used a regular shopping trip that I needed to do anyway for groceries, and wrote about the till service and I asked a question at the customer service desk.

    I would do a proper jewellry store if I was you. The customer service will be very different to the jewellry counter in Asda.
