As I already said, one of the MSE staff would have deleted the thread as soon as they could. It's not as though they'd be sitting waiting for the last ten minutes to delete it. You're missing the point, it is clearly agains forum rules to give gifts of this nature. And as far as I'm aware from what I read of the thread, Ovetta was given five £10 paper vouchers by her work as some sort of bonus. She'd need details to post thoose onto the winners.

I was just wondering the same! I looked through Find all posts by Discodee to come and check it.
I Pmed last night round 9pm, so a bit unfair to pull it then when tons of people have pmed.
People can pm each other and give addresses out anyway without anyone knowing. If both parties have consented, I don't see the problem. It isn't as if everyone posted their addy on the board. It was a very kind gesture.
I havent bene pmed anyway but hopefullyovetta has drawn the 5 winners and pmed them

I think that if they won't allow you to give them away here then you should sell them on ebay and buy yourself something nice with the cash you get for it, because at the end of the day you deserve it for all the trouble you went to be nice to complete strangers! Don't let them go to waste!

Oh no what a shame that it was deleted - Ovetta put so much effort into this kind deed.

I've seen people pm each other so they can send on items like Sun Tokens, booking forms etc.

I can understand why the site would recommend caution on providing your name and address in this way - but they could make it up to the user to decide whether to do this.
