I'll move this thread across to the 'I wanna' board.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

You can get "tinted" cling film, used for commercial packing - but I'm sure you would need to buy in bulk. However, the colour is so slight that it is hardly noticable.

I suppose it depends how much you need and what its for as to whether its suitable?

  • It's to apply to the face of my radio alarm clock which is much too bright at night - my thinking is to cover the face of the alarm clock with tinted cling film (or whatever) to dim the light down !!
