Correcting Mistakes on My Credit File

I have obtained a copy of my credit file and noticed several mistakes. One company has placed arrears notices on the account for six consecutive months last year, when in fact the payments were made in full. Still no reply from any of the companies responsible! I have contacted Equifax and started a dispute with them, so hoping their involvement may speed things up.

I have spoken to the Financial Ombudsman toady who tell me they are happy to get involved. I will give the companies 28 days to respond which I think is fair and will then go down the ombudsman route.
