getting a loan when unemployed

hi, i need to get a loan for a car, i am unemployed but have an interview for a job in 2 weeks, the job specifies i must have a car. is there any way of getting a loan while im unemployed?

    I very much doubt it. I can't see any lender giving you a loan based on the fact you might get a job in two weeks.
  • And if you did manage to get a loan but not the job how would you repay?

    1) i would wait and see if you get the job 1st!
    2) even if you get the job there is no garentee that u will be able to get a loan for a car as you have not been working there very long
    3) why aplly for a job that insists having a car is a must when u clearly dont
  • There is no lender that give you loan when you are unemployed. If you have some property on the basis of that you can take a loan.
    On the basis of your story no lender give you loan. what is the guarantee for you get that job finally.
  • I don't think that any lender will give loan to you because there is no guarantee that you will get the job after 2 week.

    If lender gives you the loan then he will give you against some fixed assets.

    Yep, it always amazes me how these people who supposedly know nothing about loans, have links to sites offering them in their sigs?!!! :rolleyes:

    But then, what can we do about them?!
