New Argos Catalogue

  • This is probably the saddest thing on this thread so far:

I need to buy a breadmaker but the catalogue changes tomorrow and there doesn't seem to be stock of the current one I want at the large Bham stores.

What are, say, the three cheapest ones in the new catalogue, and is the Cookworks breadmaker 422/9382 (or an equivalent to it) still there?

    Thanks all!

Go instore, give them the catalogue number and get them to ring store support. They will be able to tell you when they are coming into the distribution warehouse for your area.
And even if the item will be kept for the latest catalogue or phased out at any time.

If you can't get to a store, i'll check for your tomorrow and report back when I finish work.

Here's one for a member of Argos staff.

I reserved an item for collection yesterday but couldn't get there to pick it up. So I thought to myself, I'll just re-reserve it first thing this morning and go and pick it up.

But it obviously isn't in the new catalogue, so it doesn't appear online. I've tried by description and also by catalogue number (from the first reservation)

Will it be recognised in store?
  • All sorted thanks!!

    Thanks for your help.

Nice of you to hit the thanks button on my post but I think it was meant for saucy77, so I've done it for you.

Im have a similar question to Road_Hog.

Last night I was browsing the argos website and got my eye on a 22" Acer tft monitor which was on offer (129.99).
Being stupid, I didnt reserve but there was stock at my local Argos (Harrow).
This morning, it doesnt exist anymore!!!!!

Is there any chance they may still have it? Or would it on for clearance?

    Many thanks,
    Sol

I've just been to the store and input the catalogue number and it was recognised, so I just went to the quickpay and purchased it.
  • I picked up the new catalogue at about 9.30 this morning in Kings Lynn. Haven't looked at it yet though.

I going to be buying something for £49.99 but obviously it needs to £50 to get the £5 gift voucher. I sort of remember someone saying something about donating the 1p to charity is that right or was i dreaming??
  • At the bottom of the form that you fill in you can tick the box to give 20p to charity (Leukimea Research).
