E: 11units Compact Flash (II) 2.2Gb Magicstor V3 @ £52.86inc.VAT+del

A 2.2GB CF II memory card/microdrive from Scancom.co.uk - only 11 units left at time of posting, looks like a bargain to me.

This is a hard disk not flash memory so will not work with many devices as the access time is so slow compared to flash. Also mechanical not solid state.

It also is of chinese manufacture and there have been massive problems (failures and general slowness) reported with MagicStor devices in the past.

In many cases it helps if you say where you are - someone with local knowledge might be able to give local specifics rather than general advice

I would be careful of these. I had two last year both sent back and my camera was suppose to work with them. They are very slow so no good for a good digital camera. Okay for normally storage but not all equipment is compatible and in my case even when compatible they don't always work straight away.

No longer a user, goodbye folks. PLEASE delete my account. Thank you

Avoid Magicstor microdrives, you'll only get problems with them
