anyone else had there modem fried in storms this week have been offline al week since last friday till today.because ligtning hit ntl cable apparently they have copper on them.they replaced network and modem free of charge but it was quite scary at time because a very loud crack and bang came through ntl box.even though we have a lighting pole on building and power surge on computer.ntl said it shouldnt happen as box has a surge on it as well. :A
