Boots mailing

Just had my latest Boots mailing, one double points voucher valid for 2 uses, 1 x 10% off voucher and varous others, incl. 500 pts for a Time Delay purchase - there are a couple of products under £5.00, a Daniele Ryman 500 pts one, nothing is that cheap but it at least makes them affordable!

I presume though, that I can't use my double pts voucher and the individual vouchers at the same time?

I think one reason could be when you apply for an advantage card, there was an option box on apllication form to recieve offer, this had to be ticked.

I get them sent to me every time I place an order on boots.com; there tends to be a small booklet in the bottom of box. The only drawback with them is that they tend to be store use only.

I got my BOOTS mailing when I came home on Wednesday - very impressed as I think for once they let me be one of the first to get it - usually im lagging behind to get my booklet of couposn due to my morthernly location - however with the exception of the double points coupon and the 10% off coupon my individual coupons were RUBBISH, full of weird and wonderufl things like for hair removal and contact lens stuff, there was one for money off Palmolive deodorant - now i had to get a new roll-on deodoratn today i WOULD have used it but Mum went *oh i think that Palmolive deodorant would be rubbish!* and promptly threw it out, stupid Mother! Who was only going through all my Boots stuff as I am visually impaired and cannot see it properly to read it myself and was only giving me the useful coupons not all of them. The only ones i kept from the individual coupons were for 150pts on any No.7 makeup but I probably cannot use that until the 10th of July after the Mirror tokens have run out, also either 50p off, or 50points on, i cant remember, a Boots pot of salad BUT they've put a *not valid if you put the salad in a meal deal* clause in, which makes lunch a heck of a lot dearer as you would have to buy all items indivually instead of getting the excellent-valued meal deal bag! so that is a bit stupid! although on saying that it will probably tkae me until near the time they go invalid to get someone to take me out to the salad-stocking retail park to actually use the blasted thing!

oh well never mind i managed to find one of the last remaining, but cleverly hidden away but i found it, polybagged May and June health and beauty magazines for another 10% voucher - most of the ones left lyign were looses ones without vouchers, however i have heard many branches have already cleared those and put the July and August non-vouchered ones out so I guess i was lucky, wer Highlanders are often quite behind with when the magazines come out!

Went to Boots today, bought loads of reduced smellies sets for end of term gifts, got a time delay moisturiser for £5 and got 500 pts! Bought a Daniele Ryman product for £8 and got 500 pts again and then my 10% off voucher which was work about £8.00. It is worth having a look at the sale stuff, my Boots has a whole aisly of them, and loads of great smellies incl. barefoot doctor,fcuk and botanics - unfortunately no sanctuary stuff, my fave

I wonder how they work out what to send people in the way of vouchers, I have never bought Time Delay or Daniele Ryman before, normally pampers nappies and Olay stuff

My Mum reckons that they go through what you have bought and then try and offer you ones for different brands to try and get you to switch to buying those instead of yoru favourites i.e it will probably be on my card about buying nivea deodorant hence the one for the palmolive one that she stupidly went and threw out *i bought nivea deodorant yesterday yet i may have purchased the palmolive had she not said that it would be pants and thrown the coupon out on me, sigh*. I don't know why they gave me one for the salad pot but it is probably on my records about buyign sandwiches and salads - back in teh day when the Eastgate Centre brnach sold the things, sigh.
