I never thought of that. Not sure it would fold down for the car very easily though....

    :D

    Just dump it. :)
  • Get a trolly from PC world instead, I overheard a guy that worked there telling a customer that their trolley release mechanism worked with a 1p and a 20p (togethr) and that you didn't need to use a £1 coin - bargain pram of the month, 21p.

  • PS - I specify the shop because I tried this in tescos the other day when I didn't have a £1 coin and it didn't work (although maybe I lack the knack)

  • I'm sure there was a thing on TV once about these prams (was it Martin who did it? It was about saving money so it must've been him!) and people who were wasting money on kids things like designer clothes and buggies. After testing them, the couple decided that the best buggy was one of the cheaper ones and not the buggalug.......bigaboo...........christopherbiggins................whatever-it's-called.
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

Just nick a trolley from Tesco and pad it with old pillows. :)
Don't nick it from my shop, I will be watching anyone who buys loads of value pillows and sellotape:D
  • A pushchair is a pushchair. We bought a cheap £30 stroller from mothercare and it's lasted us for 2 kids without any problems. Why pay £500 plus for something they're going to be in a fraction of their time??? The money would be better spent on varied and educational toys..

Thats interesting...thinking about it now, the buggy is really not that great for the price. The more I think about it, the more I come to realise it really is a massive waste of money. I cant honestly think of one good thing about it, apart from the "look at me!" factor, which, lets face it, is a bit pathetic! :rotfl:

Im gonna sell the damn thing! Oooh it will be so good to get rid of a credit card finally!

    Hi peeps!

I'm thinking about selling my prized bugaboo pushchair right from underneath my poor son lol, to raise some extra wonga to pay off my debts, then just buying a cheapie pushchair to replace it. The problem is, I dont know if I am strong enough to let go of it....please do your best to persuade me it is totally the right thing to do!! I mean, I could make £500+ which is one of my credit card balances! :j

While I'm here, anyone got any good recommendations for a cheap, lightweight pushchair that would be suitable for a 3 month old?

If your selling it on ebay, make sure it can be couriered. It will increase what you get for it. I said local only when I sold mine, and got !!!!!! all for it!!
