Been a bit cross with Tesco recently. My local store has just been knocked down to build a Tesco Extra, and a temporary tent thing built in the car park, so customers won't go else where to shop.

The "Tent" is much much smaller than the old store, and all my friends have received notification that until the new Extra Store opens in the Autumn they will get double points on all shopping in The Tent, or in another local store, or on line.

Bo ho I didn't get this mailing, so I emailed CS, and nicely asked if I could be sent the mailing. They refused, stating it was all done on post coding, I then sent a not such a nice email back, stating my next door neighbour was getting double points and spends less then me, as there is only two of them, and she has the same post code.

Again a I received a rather blunt reply, saying they basically could not help me, and wished me all the luck with my future shopping habits!!!

So I'm out to get Tesco in other ways now! Just got the 'used ink cartridge envelopes'-hubby and I can get empty HP cartidges to send for 50 points. Want to apply for the Tesco Plus Card, and possibly Tesco C C.

I've just joined all the Tesco 'Clubs' I can find, including my Tom Cat as a 5 year old child!

Hubby fills company van up with diesel at Tesco, I'm ordering groceries on line, with e-vouchers, and all the BOGOF I use anyway, getting delivery on the cheapest day.

If I visit store, I only buy reduced items, or use extra points vouchers I've had in mailings. Neice wanted Lemony Snicket DVD for her birthday. Ordered it on-line through Greasyplam from Tesco Jersey, with double points and no P&P.

Can I do anything else to grab as many points as poss?? I think I'm with the cheapest Electric/Gas/Phone/Internet provider, so I don't want to change there.

I stock a tuck shop at work, so buy alot of BOGOF chocs, crisps and drinks, with tuck shop funds, but use my Club Card for the points!!

    I've been Money Tipped!
I rang the other day and was told you cant get an application form yet for 'plus' as they are being rewritten.
They will be available i think mid july, but they wouldnt take my address to send one - VERY bad customer service IMO.
I got a credit card application to be sent, which gives1.5 pts per £ in tesco, and 0.5 pt per £ outside tesco.

I got one a couple of weeks ago...very strange goings on if you ask me...

My local Tesco Express was offering 20 extra points for every shop.......didnt see anything about banning multiple shops per day.

Did you notice anything about a minimum spend. I got the 20 points when I bought 2 pasta dishes yesterday, and when I bought some Nestle Fitnesse cereal and the paper this morning. However, when I bought 2 pints of milk on its own, I did not get any points, nor did I get any points for a sandwich I bought later.

I have telephoned customer services, twice (because the first operative did not bother to log my call). Whilst I was out, my son took a message from CS to say the Express store would be calling me. I wonder what they are going to say.

I know it is only 40 points, but they are better off on my clubcard account.

if you or anyone in your house has a PAYG mobile e-top up at Tesco with £15 or over and you get triple points.

E.g. Top up £15... get 45 clubcard points.
