Hi

My fiance and I applied for a joint personal loan with personalloan.co.uk after reading about it on this site. We applied on 11th January by filling out the online form and got an automated confirmation email saying it was received and that we should hear within 24 hours if we had been accepted. We have still heard nothing and I don't know what to do. We need the money quite urgently and I don't know whether they have started credit checks or if we should forget about it and try someone else.

Has anyone else used them and had the same problem of no response? There aren't any contact details for them on the site so I would be so grateful for any help you can give.

personalloan.co.uk takes me to a halifax loans page. Is that correct?

Thanks Dave but no it's not Halifax. Sorry my mistake because I should have put yourpersonalloan.co.uk as the subject header which is one that Martin recommends for a really good lending rate on his cheap loans section.

Hi, I applied to youpersonalloan.co.uk at the begining of January. Ufortunately, I was turned down but I was notified of this the day follwoing the application, although not before I received a phone call from Freedom Finance who had been given my details by yourpersonalloan.co.uk, and who tried to get me to secrue the loan on my house. They could not understand why I did not want to do this! I would try to ring them to see what is happening.

Thanks spend-a-holic for your info. That's worrying too that they give out people's details like that. I would call them but I can't find a contact number, does anyone know one for yourpersonalloan.co.uk?

Hi

I to applied for a loan with yourpersonalloan.co.uk through virgin money 4 weeks ago. i have contacted virgin money 5 times via e mail and only had 2 responses, the last of which saying nothing to do with them contact your personal loan.co.uk. Of course there are no contact numbers on their website so i am now stuck. All i wanted was a yes or no to my application. Has anyone had this problem and found a solution, if so please tell me.

I too applied for a personal loan last night and first thing this morning I got a call from Freedom Finance asking if they could help me and that they had received my details from yourpersonalloan.co.uk to which I asked 'I take it I was turned down the' only to get 'well yes that why we get your details'. Still have not had any reply from yourpersonalloan.co.uk and am a bit dissapointed with them as they are part of the Co op and I've got a credit card with them which they've just upped my credit limit

hey lile u know i also applied for loan last month and got a call next day like u but in my case i got my loan easily so if u need money urgently than u should try this because i think this is the best site to get money
