Received an email a day after applying, giving us a pair of tickets for the 31st. As we would like to take my mother in law we will probably try to purchase an extra one in the same area.

Am I the only person who thinks it is wrong to make multiple applications to obtain a family load of free tickets ? A pair seems great enough to me.

    Many thanks to the OP.
Maybe it is wrong- but we're all a bit wrong in applying for tickets that weren't for us but were allocated to the best customers of Phillips- who don't seem to have been as keen as us :o As with everything like this some people will sell on ebay; some will order 10 tickets for their extended family- you can think about it in lots of different ways and generally justify it to yourself but I don't think it is harming anyone.
I think from the letter they want to get a bit of word of mouth buzz going and they have a big venue they have not filled- perhaps we are doing them a favour? Anyway I am very grateful to the OP as 4 of us are going on Saturday to block E.

Fair enough. I just tend to be more restrained when it comes to grabbing freebies, often of limited supply. More a question of sharing the fruits rather than deliberating over whether to take a bite.

Received a pair of tickets but guess what, received on the 24th at 2.55pm. For that same night.

Read the email way too late. If anyone has 2 tickets and they will not be attending then I would kindly take them off you, thank you very much.

Same Here, Theres 4 us , so 2 tickets were no good, as I couldn't afford to buy 2 more.
So I applied for 4, which I got,and me my wife and kids are very excited about, But if I had only got 2 I would have given them to someone on this forum.

Thanks Amba_Gambla, good spot. Am I the only one to get two tickets that are not seated together or in the same box?

Two tickets arrived this morning, perforated together, but one is for box 3 the other for box 41 :rotfl:how odd!
