Laura phoned me on Friday and then Olly sent me an e-mail with info about train tickets. I don't suppose that I will find out anymore until I get there.
    :hello: N:hello:A :hello:N :hello:A :hello:M :hello:A :hello:G :hello:S :hello:
  • I'm going to be in the audience on Feb 27th

    :):):)

(I should be pretty easy to spot given that I was the 'stoozing' case study last week).
    Mortgage Feb 2001 - £129,000
    Mortgage July 2007 - £0
Original Mortgage Termination Date - Nov 2018
    Mortgage Interest saved - £63790.60
    ISA Profit since Jan 1st 2015 - 98.2% (updated 1 Dec 2020)
  • I presume they don't want me for the council tax thing then - as I haven't heard anything since my phonecall from Laura on Thursday.

Oh well - I will just have to fight it on my own.

We want to see a photo of you and Martin together in that case, then we can decide if you do look like him :D
  • I've updated the list... see some of you on Wednesday! :D

Guys can I ask for a little help? We can no longer stay overnight as there is no one to stay with my son (I know he's sixteen but I've never left him before!)

Anyway I'm just trying to book a return ticket and there is literally hundreds of pounds difference in the price... I'm getting a headache now

I've found a train with a 'value advance' but its leaving London at 19.46pm. What time will I leave the studios and get back to the train station? Am I better off getting the next train, who's time is 22.15, but then I'm sat around for hours?

Oh and I have an option to get an underground card for £5.50 is it worth it?

Sorry for all the questions but I really dont know London at all and i've no idea how long it takes to get to these places:confused:
  • What station are you having to leave from? Don't buy a return ticket but look at buying two single tickets.

Well I didnt know to do that until I read Martin's report on it. Return were coming up at over £100 each but I'm managed to find it two 'one ways' for around £79 for both of us including an underground card!

I am getting into London Euston at 13.18 so that gives me an hour and half to get to the studio.

On the way home I need to get back to Euston for 19.46 for the earlier train. If not then the next 'cheapie' is after 10pm.

ETA I'm leaving from Tamworth and I've got straight through seat, no stopovers
  • Check the underground map to see how or which line you need from either Bayswater or Queensway to Euston, Bayswater is very slightly nearer to Whiteleys but if you can get a more direct tube from Queensway its worth walking the extra few yards. I would imagine you will have plenty of time as the studio is used for the Wright Stuff in the morning and needs to be got ready as soon as IPTW is over.

I can't actually remember what time we left at but I do know it was around 6.00 when it was all over including the IPTW More.

Thats brilliant then, I'll book the 19.46pm train then. I dont have the option of Euston to Queensway so I'll be doing Euston to Bayswater. I'll get the £5.30 reduced ticket for the underground.

Just going to check out that first class meal thing and I'm happy!!

    Thanks for that :-)
