Looks like I have opened a can of worms here!

buy.at is indeed an affiliate network and the buy.at/NMC site has affiliate links on it which is the same as just about any other site on the internet, the link I put up was just to the site itself and not through any affiliate links and the comp is just on their site (you don't need to go through an affiliate link to get to it).

I'm sure most of the other links to competitions posted here will go to site with affiliate links on it so it isn't really any different (although I did say that going through the links would raise money and that is the primary function of the site!)

I'm sure your right in sites being affiliated, but blatant affiliates are not allowed, ( if you see what I mean )
