Free QuarkXPress5 in Feb. Computer shopper

We have been trying to load QuarkXPress5 into our computer with Windows XP but the computer will not accept it without the registration number which is supposed to be on a card in with the DVD. There was no card, but on the DVD itself was written WG followed by 11 numbers. Has anyone had difficulty loading this DVD. Did anyone have a card in the sealed packet containing the DVD, or is this a con? I should be grateful for any advice. We have e-mailed Computer shopper forum but as yet, have heard nothing. Are you sure you don't have to register for the code on a website first using the code that on the CD. Normally these free CDs with magazines for the big name software require you to register your details online then they email you the code. They should have information on registering on the CD

It could be that when its referring to a card with the CD it means you would have got one if you had purchased a boxed copy in a shop.
