hi,
im kind of new to this so pls point me in the right direction; basically its that time of year where I need to renew my british gas homecare agreement. To renew the agreement will cost £266 for the year. However I have seen that barclays have the additions plus current account where you pay £14.50 a month and you get emergency repair, travel insurance and card protection. Has anybody taken this policy out and had to make a claim? -Or does anybody know about a cheaper option?

I'm open to ideas. Thanks a lot

I have emergency cover that includes boiler repair on my house insurance up to £250, maybe worth contacting yours to see if they have this option, the additional premium for mine was £25.

Another option is the british gas emergency boiler repair - they will fix a breakdown for a one off cost which varies depending where you live, in my case its £168.
