Backup DVDs

I've just got a DVD writer but it comes with no software. I want to use it to back up some DVDs but I don't know which software to use! Can anybody suggest some and where I can get it from?

search on google for dvd decrypter...then you need to use dvd shrink as the the full film do not fit on a standard dvd disc...finally use search for ha! cd burner manager to burn...or dvd to one if you dont want the menus...these are the basic details....if you follow these steps I m sure you can work it out...use a dvd (- or + pending your writer) rw first to test...hope this helps.

1. dvd decrypter
2. dvd shrink

also nero is probably worth getting hold of. And also use VSO DivxToDVD sometimes for strange things like recorded TV programs
