Ditch the coat!

Options
You look as though you're wearing a farmer's/stockman's brown coat Martin!!!!

Mind you, if you're doing a stint on chickens it might be appropriate ;) :rotfl:

Now I must admit I hated the coat on camera too (it was nice in real life). Yet when I got there the skys opened up and while it doesn't show - it was pooring with rain and freezing - so I had no choice but the coat - it just didnt match what else I was wearing :(

Only to be expected, another cracking show. Perhaps next week you should just wear 'bin-bags' and then people can concentrate on the matter in hand.
Second thoughts, paper sacks, we wouldn't want to upset the recyclers too!

Dont worry - I thought the coat was naff too. And part of the professionalism of the job is to have clothes that look good but dont detract from what you're saying. My coat was a bit distracting because it didnt look right. If people spend 30 seconds looking at the coat then they miss the content and that's a problem.

Interestingly its for this reason news readers (Im mainly talking about female) are often well presentedl good looking and well dressed. But not super-hot and super glam. Its one of the reasons long hair is often banned in some news rooms as it can 'sex up' the look and that's distracting.

    Martin :)

I see what you said above, BUT...

There are lots of People who do not care if you wore a Black Sack...

We watch the Show because we believe in you, and watch because of that!

To us you are an angel Martin...:A

If you want to be less distracting your going to have to keep the top button on that shirt done up! Can't stop looking at your chest hair and I don't think I am the only one!:rotfl:
