Presents for the mums?

I want to make sure we get our Mum's lovely thank you presents for the wedding - esepecially my mum as she's doing SO MUCH, including making my dress etc.
However, neither of our Mums are very into flowers. They like them but feel they are a waste of money. I'd like to get them something more lasting, but I've no idea what. Anyone got any ideas?
And what sort of amount would you be expected to spend on them?

What about a nice bunch of silk or even wooden flowers? then they can keep them.
I guess this really depends on your budget, we haven't got this far yet but i was planning on giving our Mums something little on the day and then a mini photo book afterwards

I'd go for a lovely pampering basket each or a tree to plant in their gardens.0

Both our mums are going to travel miles to our wedding so flowers weren't really an option.
I've gone for double photo frames and we will then have a pic of us done for one side and one of their respective grandchildren for the other after the wedding.Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Thanks everyone. I was thinking the tree would be perfect as MIL is moving into a new house and my Mum loves trees in the garden...but then I remembered Mum is waiting for me to get married then is selling our house. LOL.
A plant might be an idea, or the pampering thing. Might make up a wee basket each, with a voucher in it for them to go for a massage - to get over the stress of the wedding!
No chance of them getting grandchildren from us, so that is out.0 -
hi
i get my family theatre tickets. you can get theatre tokens from the SOLT (society of london theatre) website - or i sometimes use sites like https://www.westendtheatre.com to just book them something i think they'd like (they have discounts)
cheers

Hiya
I got my mum a willow tree figurine and the mil a Kit Heath silver necklace.
I couldnt see the point in flowers, they die after a week at most and this way they will look at our gifts and remember what a wonderful day it was.*~*Eleventh Heaven*~*

We got our nieces a personalised bottle of wine with their wedding pics on and a personal message from us to remember the day, perhaps you could do something similar with just a pic of you and hubby to be and a thank you message. Also had personalised thank you cards made.0
