Hi Forum
Has anyone come across No Worries Loan before - don't know anything about them, and I keep getting contacted by them.

Any info gratefully received.

I just got an unsolicited text from them... gits...

Found this info by Googling (as well as a link to this thread!)...

Doesn't say much, but they're apparently legitimate, but are unfavourable with ppl because of unsolicited stuff. They also charge some ppl £49.99 for a loan application... !

Just scuttled over to the TPS site to add my mobile to the "opt out" listing for unwanted calls/texts....

Register your telephone numbers (mobile and landline) on there and confirm your address details and it should update you and prevent stupid texts/calls.

  • Best thing you can do in this instance if you can be bothered is to call them and tell them that under the data protection act you insist they tell you where they got your details from. They will probably tell you write in to the data controller and pay a fee to get the info. If you are sure though that you haven't not supplied your info to them or one of their subsiduaries then it's worth doing. From memory they are only legally allowed to send you messages to your phone if you have 'opted in' to receive them. If you haven't opted in then they are breaking the rules and can get fined for it ( and you could possibly be due compensation )

    (e) If we are unable to introduce you to a lender with whom you enter into a loan within the 6 months we act for you, and we have not provided you with any other service, then you have the right to repayment of the Fee less the sum of £5.00 which we are entitled to retain pursuant to the Act. Refunds must be requested in writing to avoid repayments being sent to a wrong address.

I've been getting massively harrasses by people trying to get me to reclaim PPI or take a loan. So I've just bobbed over and registered with this too. So, thanks for that! :T
