Argos DAB/FM Radio - £19.99

Just wanted to pass this on.

I reserved this radio

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5005677/Trail/searchtext>DAB.htm

For my Mum this morning, priced on the website at £29.99.

However when I went to the credit card machine thing and entered my reservation number the system was only charging me £19.99 for it.

Its still coming up listed as £29.99, and obviously I can;t gaurentee what branches are doing, but *I* certainly was sold one for £19.99 this morning in North Scotland.

:confused:Don't bother! Seriously. I bought the FIL one at Xmas and the sound quality was so bad, I took it back the next day.

 I posted this deal a while back in the Grabbit DAB thread and I'm happy with the radio - DAB, FM and portable for less than £20 seems OK to me. It looks OK, the sounds as good as any £20 FM radio I've ever had and the reception seems very good...

I'd be more happy with this one than mine which cuts out everytime something interesting comes on at least i would of only paid £19.99 for rather than closer to £50

Mines going back tomorrow you're dead right it's rubbish. I can't pick any channels up. I bought my dad a Ferguson dab radio for Christmas and I tried it out before I gave it to him and it worked perfectly. It picked up all the channels so it's not down to my area.
