Capital One vs CCCS DMP

It's taken six months for Capital One to formally accept the repayment proposals (pro-rata payment) that the CCCS have administered. During that time they have sent various letters threatening action and also loaded the debt with late payment fees each month. But for anyone else concerned about American credit card companies' attitude to DMPs this may be a welcome sign. In contrast Barclays and Morgan Stanley were very quick to accept repayment proposals, and cease charging interest and fees. I'm yet to see whether Capital One will cease to charge interest as well as fees.

Capital One were also avid users of call centre facilities to pursue this matter, Caller Line Identification is extremely useful for filtering out these potentially annoying/upsetting/misleading calls.
