Can anyone advise me I have inherited money from the USA the cheque has been sent to me in dollars.Question how do you cash it without encurring a conversion charge

The cheapest way to cash a $ cheque is through http://www.auctionpix.co.uk/
They charge 95p per cheque or batch of cheques.Presumably you've not used them before,so you'd have to register and start an account with them.The section you want is under 'auctionchex'.Banks would charge you a lot more than 95p!0 -
Last cheque I got, NATWEST charged me £10, but it could be up to £35. Crap exchange rate too.NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0
