SO annoyed with myself....missed call

Some of you will understand so I just have to post as i'm so annoyed with myself.. I went to pick up DD at school.. was out for 10 min top and didn't take my mobile today (why oh why)..came back to a missed call.. phoned the nber and it was Emap.. so of course they couldn't tell me.. I'm pretty sure it's for a comp... but i'll prob never know.. they must have called the next person..:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: anyway just HAD to let sbdy know...:o (feel better now!!)

I have had 2 phone calls from Emap this week, both about different magazine subscriptions (60p for 6 issues of Web magazine, and £1 for 3 issues of Style magazine) both said they got my details from competitions i had entered!!!0

Yes, I've had a couple of calls about subscriptions too, so it could have been that. Better to think you've missed a sales call than a comp win

Whenever I've run a competition, we wouldn't "go on to the next person" unless the winner was definitely beyond contact. Mind you, I would definitely have left a message as well!

It's sods law isn't it? Whenever I'm waiting for a delivery I stay in all day only run to school & back leaving a note with my mobile when I do & lo & behold they always come at about 7pm!!! With some excuse about traffic, this happened with my Sofa & my TV.
I have also had mag subscription calls this week, I'm sure they'll call back:DComping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner :beer:
