Wohooo... some good news!!

As most of you know i got made redundant just before christmas. I wasnt entitled to any kind of redundancy package as i hadnt been there long (6 months). Anyway, they said they were going to give me my last months pay tax free as a gesture.

I got paid early in December but it wasnt tax free. To cut a long story short I have been chasing them since! Well last night i was promised it would be in my account today... and... IT WAS!!! :j

AND it was a more than i thought. I was expecting £300 but its £590! Im so chuffed. This has taken me out of my O/D (thanks to charges grrr!) and means i can pay 2 DD that have been returned, with a bit left over to go into savings.

  • that's what I plan to do too!
I think AOL are giving away free laptops if you sign up to them... £20 per month for fast connection - minimum contract 24 months I think - that is for a free laptop too... that's £480 for the connection and laptop... need to look into it a bit more though...

I'm quessing that Quidco would be the best place to look?
    research! research!
