Can anyone please advise me what this means? We received a discharge of standard security with regards to a secured loan in March 2012. It states that "We, the Lender, CONSIDERING THAT all sums due and that may become due by the borrowers have now been repaid to us do HEREBY DISCHARGE the Security". Does this mean that, essentially, the lender is saying we owe them nothing?
  • Hi can you tell me the name of the solicitor who charged £22 please?
  • Just going through process and discovered you can do all this yourself - find a discharge document template and send it to your lender, they will sign and stamp it and you can send it to land registry with £60 fee and it's done avoiding solicitors and the fees they charge
  • Hi Crillyjc - just wondering if it working without using a solicitor and if you have a link to the standard security template you used?

    Cheers.

Hi...think this form is just for England & Wales...it says HM Land Registry on the form?

    Can someone clarify?
